Sumbawa Police Holds Interfaith Prayers Ahead of the 78th Bhayangkara Day






Sumbawa Besar, NTB - Jurnalinvestigasimabes.com Sumbawa Police, NTB Regional Police held an interfaith prayer event ahead of the 78th commemoration of Bhayangkara Day.


This event was held to ask for safety and success for all members of the National Police and the entire community in carrying out their daily duties and activities.


The activity which took place in the Sumbawa Police Rupatama room was attended by the Regent of Sumbawa, represented by the Regent's Expert Staff for Legal and Political Affairs, Sumbawa Police Chief AKBP Heru Muslimin S.IK M.I.P., who was represented by the Head of the Sumbawa Police Rent Department AKP Djoko RS Gatot, Dandim 1607 Sumbawa Lt. Col. CZI Eko Cahyo Setiawan SE. M. Han., Kajari Sumbawa Hendi Arifin S.H., Chair of FKUB Sumbawa, Religious Figures from Each Religion and Sumbawa Police Personnel.


The interfaith joint prayer began with the reading of prayers led by Islamic religious figures, followed by Christians, Catholics and Hindus.


In his speech, the Sumbawa Police Chief, represented by the Head of Ren, stated that the purpose of holding this joint prayer was not only to commemorate the 78th Byangkara Day, but also to invite personnel to always be grateful for being part of the Bhayangkara people. 


"By carrying out this joint prayer activity, it is hoped that by the age of 78, the National Police institution will be more professional and have integrity in carrying out its duties." he said.


Apart from that, the Head of Ren continued that what we all hope for is to establish harmonious friendship and togetherness between the National Police institution and all community stakeholders so that the security and social security situation throughout the Sumbawa Regency area is always in a safe and conducive condition.


In this activity, gifts were also handed over in the form of aid to orphans as a form of Polri's concern for others.
